Magnolia Family Services is a mental health rehabilitation center which provides services including psychiatric evaluations and treatment, medication management, family therapy sessions, individual therapy sessions, parenting skills development, child skills development, psycho-social skills training, behavior modification, and educational interventions.
Child-Adolescent Response Team (CART) - Phone: (985)876-8879. The mission of the program is to provide crisis counseling and intervention to children, youth, and their immediate family. CART assists the family in the stabilization of their crisis and provides the family with advocacy, referral, and support. CART services are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Louisiana National Guard Youth Challenge Program (YCP) - Phone: 1-800-CAMP-KID (1-800-226-7543). YCP accepts Louisiana residents, ages 16-19, who are drug free with no felony convictions. The program offers at risk adolescents an opportunity to earn a GED while learning important life skills including life coping skills, academic excellence, job skills, responsible citizenship, leadership/followership, health and hygiene, community service, and physical fitness.

Services include 24-hour crisis line, 24-hour emergency shelter, alternative shelter, crisis intervention, lethality assessment, safety planning, legal advocate program, and support groups.

Bayou Oaks Health Services is a Mental Health Rehabilitation program that provides medical, counseling, and other services to youth and their families with a history of emotional/behavior disorders and to adults with severe mental illness. Services are provided in the home, community, and our office based on an individualized treatment plan. Services are available 24 hours a day to all patients for crisis situations.

Nicholls State University Psychology Training Clinic – Phone: (985)-448-4362. Counseling services are provided by advanced graduate students under direct supervision of Psychology and Counselor Education Department faculty members who are licensed by the state of Louisiana. Services provided address issues such as, but are not limited to, parenting challenges, communication problems, anxiety, depression, grief management, stress management, career changes, and problems at work.

A voluntary, free maternal and childhood health program, Nurse-Family Partnership gives first-time, young moms valuable knowledge and support throughout pregnancy and until their babies reach two years of age.
